Trusting Your "Intuition"

By Dr. Damian Goldvarg Ph.D., MCC Intuition is defined by the Webster dictionary as a "clear and instant perception of a truth without the aid of reason." Sometimes we have "hunches" or ideas that we don't know where they come from. We know something but we don't know how we know it. However, this information can be very important in our lives to make decisions. The ability to pay attention to our intuition can help us to make appropriate decisions.

We can even make decisions without thinking much about other possibilities as we build on what we know and believe is the best for us or our loved ones.  These decisions might be done “mechanically” or in “autopilot” which means we may have not spent time reflecting on why we do what we do. It is as if the decisions were already made for us.
